Strategic Stake in Unit Trust Management

The Unit Trust Management Company (Pvt) Limited is a fund management company which is jointly owned by Carsons (22% stake), Unit Trust of India, the Bank of Ceylon and HSBC Asset Management - Hong Kong. The Company manages Ceybank Unit Trust and the Century Growth Fund. Both are primarily equity-based mutual funds, which invest in Sri Lankan stocks. UTMCL has a fund base amounting to Rs. 2.0 billion.
