The Indonesian plantation project PT Agro Indomas was a pioneering effort by the Company undertaken in 1996 and is equipped with an oil processing mill, the capacity of which was doubled to 180 MT/hr recently. The sector has recently embarked on a new plantation project 20,000 ha in extent, also based in Central Kalimantan, through Bukit Darah PLC
Our expansion programme aims to leverage on the learning experiences and competencies we have acquired in successfully developing oil palm plantations in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Expansion in planted extents will enable the sector to derive economies of scale and to sustain the low cost structures required for long term sustainability and to be a recognized plantation group in the region.
